Assembly and dismantling
at height

Derrick cranes are principally support cranes used for the dismantling of tower cranes at great heights, where conventional mobile cranes cannot reach. These cranes are easy to assemble and dismantle thanks to their small dimensions and low weight of their components. They can also be used for maintenance work on the roofs of buildings.

The SDH100 is our first hydraulic Derrick. This model has been developed to provide a solution for the dismantling of tower cranes at great heights, and to perform maintenance tasks.

With a 37 kW (50HP) hoist mechanism and working configurations in I FALL, II FALLS and III FALLS, it can lift a maximum load of 15 tonnes, and 1,900 kg at the tip (36m).

This model has 2 m long jib sections and a movable arm, enabling easy assembly and disassembly.

  • Hydraulic power-winch protected against extreme weather events.

  • Reduced out-of-service radius.

  • Piston rod with nickel-chromium triple-layer corrosion protection treatment.

  • Reinforced seals can be disassembled and replaced without disassembling the cylinder.

  • Valves for air venting in the circuit and for oil leaks.

  • Main-valve and circuit-protection against impacts.

  • Weight of any loose part less than 2.000 Kgs.

  • Pole included for self-assembly and disassembly of jib elements.

  • Fitted for optional-extra of a hoist that allows complete disassembly of the Derrick.

  • Possibility of using extendable stabilizers to extend the supports from 3,5 to 4,5 metres (optional-extra).

  • I-II-III FALLS, 5 – 10 -15 Ton maximum load, with optimised load-chart.

  • 36 metre jib in 2 m lengths. Great versatility of jib lengths and easy dismantling, on forklift truck.

  • Fully removable cylinder.

  • High lifting performance. High-speed equipment (215m / min in I-FALL).

  • High precision slewing with variable-torque electronic brake (adapts slew braking to jib radius).

  • Electronic cabinet with HMI screen for user-friendly configuration and monitoring. (An electronic cabinet fully compatible with UL/CSA requisites is also available).

  • Possibility of use with cabled or remote control, with integrated display.
